James Killus is an atmospheric scientist and writer living in Northern California.   He is co-developer of a chemical kinetic mechanism for smog formation that serves as the basis for most ozone air quality modeling performed in the United States.   He has published two novels, Book of Shadows and SunSmoke, as well as a number of stories in Isaac Asimov’s SF Magazine, Realms of Fantasy, Tomorrow SF, and Full Spectrum.
