Ted Newsom wrote, directed and produced THE NAKED MONSTER, ultimate parody of low-budget 1950s sci-fi monster films. His other credits include the documentaries ED WOOD, LOOK BACK IN ANGORA, 100 YEARS OF HORROR, and FLESH & BLOOD, THE HAMMER HERITAGE OF HORROR, the last teaming of Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. As a screenwriter, he co-wrote the original screenplay for SPIDER-MAN, as well as adaptations of Marvel Comics' THE SUB-MARINER and SGT. FURY; as a writer, he contributed to OUI, CINEFNATASTIQUE, LA TIMES CALENDAR, FILMFAX   and FILM COMMENT; as an editor, he worked with Harlan Ellsion, Robert Bloch and Theodore Sturgeon. He is currently shooting a screwball romantic comedy with actress/writer Brinke Stevens, and co-writing (with Stevens) SINBAD'S ULTIMATE VOYAGE with s-f- legend Ray Harryhausen.
