Michael Cassutt is the author of novels (including  RED MOON  and  TANGO MIDNIGHT), two dozen short stories, and several non-fiction books, including the autobiographies of astronauts Deke Slayton and Tom Stafford.   He is best known, however, for television scripts for such SF series as  THE TWILIGHT ZONE,  MAX HEADROOM,  EERIE INDIANA,  FARSCAPE  and  THE DEAD ZONE.   He also contributes the monthly column,  "The Cassutt Files,"  to  Scifi.com's  SCIENCE FICTION WEEKLY  site.   He lives in Los Angeles.
