Genevieve Dazzo holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry and is well versed in many different scientific disciplines.   She is currently a computer consultant and also does corporate training in a variety of advanced computer and management skills.   During her career she has held senior positions at Software, Pharmaceutical, Telecommunications, and Aerospace companies.   She has been active in science fiction fandom in both New York and Los Angeles since the mid 1970s and has worked on many Worldcons and regional conventions.   She is currently on the Board of the Southern California Institute for Fan Interests (SCIFI) and was on the committee for L.A.con II, the 1984 Worldcon; L.A.con III, the 1996 Worldcon; Conucopia, the 1999 NASFiC; Noreascon 4, the 2004 Worldcon; and is on the committee for the 2006 Worldcon.
