Rob Caves is the Executive Producer of Star Trek: Hidden Frontier. Caves and his crew film Hidden
Frontier at his house in Palmdale, CA that has been converted into a green screen studio. They use virtual sets to create an array of locations. The show also employs 3-D starships that Caves renders out with a Mac and a PC. The show is entirely made by volunteers, only a few with film backgrounds. Caves graduated from Loyola Marymount University's Film School in 2000. He hopes to start up a new project when Hidden Frontier wraps next year.
