Lee Gold was named to the Filk Hall of Fame in 1997.   She edits the bimonthly filkzine XENOFILKIA.   Her best-known filksong is "You Bash the Balrog."   Her roleplaying games include LAND OF THE RISING SUN, GURPS JAPAN, and VIKINGS (Iron Crown).   She edits ALARUMS AND EXCURSIONS, which won an Origins Award in 2000 and 2001.   Her interests include science fiction, Kipling, Judaism, Cabell, Arthuriana, Celtic, Norse and Japanese folklore, Biblical Hebrew, and the Japanese language.   She has an MA in English Lit tucked away in a closet.
