Long time resident of the High Desert, Carol Alves and husband Jim, enjoy attending conventions and traveling.   When not doing either of those, Carol likes to find additions to her growing STAR WARS Collection, read books on many different topics (Science Fiction, Tudor England, TITANIC and Mysteries to name a few), and when possible join Jim in going boating in their 15 foot wood burning steamboat.   Carol has been a long time member and past president of the JEDI KNIGHTS, founded in 1977 and still going strong.   Retired from the mundane work force in July, she is relaxing, doing the things she enjoys most and just  ...  having  ...  fun.
