Brad Linaweaver is a Nebula finalist for the novella, and Prometheus-award winner for the novel version of MOON OF ICE, endorsed by Robert A. Heinlein, Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov and William F. Buckley, Jr. His other novels include SLIDERS and THE LAND BEYOND SUMMER. He appeared in NATIONAL REVIEW with a piece on George Orwell. Brad shares a second Prometheus award
with Ed Kramer for co-editing FREE SPACE, a libertarian science fiction anthology from TOR books. He takes great pride that his writing was praised by former president Ronald Reagan. Brad collaborated with Forrest J Ackerman on a major coffee table art book, WORLDS OF TOMORROW, for Collector's Press in 2004 that was cross promoted with a certain movie about a SKY CAPTAIN. Brad also collaborated on the New York Times best selling DOOM novels, based on the video game from id Software, now a major motion picture -- and also on the novel ANARQUIA, an alternate history of the Spanish Civil War, for Sense of Wonder Press.
