A literary scholar, translator, and occasional harpsichordist, Sharon D. King is also an
actress. You may remember her from her stellar TV performance on National Geographic Explorer, where her backyard was invaded by a film crew taping a segment on Reptile Rescue, or in the musical Mark and Barbara Frog at the Masquer's Cabaret in L. A., in which she played the malevolent Scientist. In her spare time, Sharon teaches historical cuisines, writes parodies (her latest is the faux memoir "Witless to the
Persecution", which appears in the September to November issues of the online satire magazine The Cynic), hangs out with her husband, and makes short films. Her
science fiction story "Quiescent" will be published by FEMSPEC in late 2005 / early 2006.
