Okay, maybe our header has been over used, but it's the truth. Think you may have a little extra time at Loscon this year? Why not volunteer a couple of your hours to help us out? I'm sure we have somewhere that you could help.
As a volunteer, you will be eligible to receive special volunteer only giveaways! This year we are doing a raffle. Raffle tickets will be handed out at the following worked levels: at six hours, nine hours, and twelve hours worked at the convention (on-site only). For every hour over twelve hours worked at the convention you will receive another ticket. The more hours you work - the better your chance to win a prize. Staff are included as long as they sign up with volunteers and report their hours during the convention. Any double hour time is not included toward the raffle ticket earning (i.e., Truck loading/unloading at the convention or at the clubhouse). Raffle Drawing will be held at on Sunday at the Convention during the Dead Dog Party. You do not have to be present to win. If you are not present, items will be shipped to you within two-three weeks with a list of winners being posted on the website post-convention. Rules will be posted at the Volunteer Table at the Convention.
The raffle prizes are as follows: a portable DVD player and various DVD movies (Back to the Future, Tron, Star Wars Trilogy (4,5,6), Shrek 1 & 2, Lilo & Stitch 1 & 2, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Fifth Element).
As in the past, at a certain level of worked volunteer hours you can earn a pass-on membership to next year's LosCon. Inquire for specific details at the Convention.
