Babylon 5 Creator, J. Michael Straczynski, has agreed to appear at LA-LA-LA CON this year. Last year he brought special blooper reels, spoke, and chatted with fans for several hours. Don't miss out on this special weekend of fun and a chance to meet the man behind Babylon 5! Other Special Guests are expected as well, we'll just see who shows up, will you be there?
Author Stephen R. Boyett, our Guest of Honor, will be on hand to do a special performance / reading of his new work!
Arthur Byron Cover will be there to discuss writing and publishing in the SF field!
Tim Powers, author of the new bestseller "Expiration Date" and our guest of honor last year, has also said he's going to attend this year because he had so much fun at the party last year!
Saturday evening is the big B5 event starting about 7:00 pm ... but the entire weekend is full of videos, guests, panels, and lotsa fun. The club will be open 48 hours continuously from Friday Midnight. The Friday night gaming crowd is planning on running a Magic Tournament Friday night from about 8pm ...
Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle will also be there for autographs and to talk about "Beolwulf's Children," their new book with Steve Barnes. Jerry might even drop a few hints about the conclusion to his currently serialized Analog novel with Charles Sheffield, "Higher Education." Or then again, he might talk a bit about the new SF juvenile he's currently writing in the classic Heinlein tradition ...
Join us and see what actually happens!! You'll certainly have fun.
