ARCHAEOLOGY DAY 2007
Celebrating California Archaeology MOnth
October is California Archaeology Month so the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society has decided to celebrate it by holding an open house from 2 to 5 PM on October 27th. Join us for an afternoon filled with entertaining and educational activities for all ages. This event is free to the public and allows kids to experience various archaeological activities first hand. From digging into our dig boxes, grinding corn with actual stone tools, making shell beads and rock art, watching an arrowhead being made, handling actual and replica artifacts, and much much more.
